The Thiessen’s celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in February and wanted some pictures with the kids, Nan and Pop and each other to capture the event. Congratulations on your Anniversary! :)
Shannon, Lynnette & Madelyn had two sessions which we had to do over 4 weeks as Shannon works away. You can see how much Madelyn has grown in such a short period of time! We did the first session at Shannon’s house and the second in my studio. Congratulations Shannon and Lynnette, you have a beautiful baby girl!
Michelle & Kendall stopped by to get pictures of Kendall who just turned two! While they were here we took a few of Michelle and her boyfriend Johnny too. We will be doing an outdoor session soon so check back for an update. Kendall loves playing dress-up and taking pictures with her mom’s camera! I hope you had a Merry Christmas, I heard Santa was buying Kendall her own camera for Christmas. Maybe we have another budding Photographer on the way!
Congratulations Tanis & Shaun on the birth of your beautiful baby girl Lylah! I have to comment on the Swan who at one point was leaning in to peak at Lylah who was fussing. I think the Swan was a little curious at what was making the noise. I’m not sure who was more nervous, me or Shaun when it got so close! :)
Thank you so much for such a great morning! We had a lot of fun shooting with all of you in Bowring Park. The kids really enjoyed running around, although I’m not so sure Andrew didn’t end up having nightmares about ducks that night!
Angela and Grant picked the walking path at Pippy Park to have their family portraits taken with Nicholas, Megan and their dog Riley. I had a fantastic time watching how much fun the kids were having running around, even if I did panic once or twice at the speed an almost 2 year old girl can run! You have a beautiful family, thank you for sharing your afternoon with me! :)
We took Jake out as promised for a fall shoot in the leaves. I’m not sure who had more fun, Jake or his mom! How quickly little ones grow. When Jake had his last session he was just taking his first steps and now he runs.. everywhere!!!
For their parents Anniversary, Bev, David & Stephen wanted to suprise them with a family portrait of the grandchildren. Organizing a surprise that involves this many people all going missing on a Sunday afternoon in a family who usually spends Sunday Dinner together was not going to be an easy task! After some thought, Bev decided to forgo the surprise and bring along Mom & Dad (Dave & Annie) and have them get into the picture too! How many coffee do you think Stephen has there? They even brought one for me!

Emma emailed me a couple of weeks ago looking to get some family pictures with a scenic Newfoundland feel to send home to their friends and family in England. We decided on Cape Spear and Petty Harbour for locations and I had probably the most hilarious family shoot I’ve ever done! From the Canadian flags, Supergirl, and the Titantic scene, we spent more time laughing then we did shooting! I was tempted to post the really funny ones, but I’ll leave that up to Emma and Paul to decide which of their family and friends get to see those first!
